New Business Has Complete Sales, Marketing and Brand Overhaul
Following a management led buy out of the Cash Systems Division of De Le Rue, which was backed by Private Equity company Carlyle, Medena were engaged to assist in the structuring of the Global Marketing function of the new Carlyle investment, Talaris.
With Banks the predominate customer base for their cash management solutions and being formed at the start of the 2008 banking crisis, cost efficiency and a flexibility in how the new business delivered it’s proposition to the marketplace was essential to future success.
Medena significantly reduced costs, whilst simultaneously accelerating responsiveness and speed to market, through centralising the communications and PR functions and creating an in-house agency model which eliminated the reliance on multiple external agencies around the world.
Through this in-house resource, Medena led the implementation of the new brand, designs, messaging and marketing delivery model from the UK, to support European operations and overseas activities.
Five years later, following a £650m acquisition by Japan based Glory, Medena personnel once again created the brand identity for the newly named Glory Global Solutions.
